Phishing Scam using Dells PD Phone Number

We have been made aware there is currently a phishing scam using the Wisconsin Dells PD phone number of 608-253-1611. The false caller ID displays either our department name, criminal investigations or the like. When answered there is an message that says something similar to, "Please hold for a criminal investigator." The scammers may call repeatedly.
If you have fallen victim to one of these, or other scams, resulting in the loss of money, please report it to your local law enforcement agency.
