Reconstruction of the 32 Mile Road and Eldred Road/Mound Road intersection in Bruce Township and Washington Township is underway. The project will be completed in two stages and is estimated to be completed in June 2025. Eastbound 32 Mile Road will be closed during the first stage of construction operations and westbound 32 Mile Road will be closed during the second stage of construction operations. Access to all residential and business properties will be maintained throughout the duration of the project. A posted detour will be in place. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes.

The project includes road reconstruction, drainage improvements, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt pavement, guardrails, traffic signal installation, and restoration work.
