* WHERE...The northern Piedmont of central North Carolina, including the following counties: Alamance, Durham, Forsyth, Franklin, Granville, Guilford, Orange, Person, Vance, Wake and Warren.

* WHEN...From 8 PM EDT this evening through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Waves of showers and thunderstorms are expected to overspread the northern Piedmont of North Carolina late this afternoon through tonight. Heavy rain and flooding will be possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
