Clay County has opened an emergency shelter for anyone in a high-risk flooding area or an immediate life-threatening situation due to the impending weather. The shelter is located at the Clay County Senior Center, 196 Ritter Road in Hayesville. If you are unable to leave your home to travel to the shelter due to flooding, please call 911 for assistance. Please only call 911 if you have an emergency!
