On September 26, 2024, at approximately 4:40 p.m., Fremont PD received several 911 calls about shots fired around the 40400 block of Grimmer Boulevard. Fremont PD Officers arrived on scene and located a male with significant injuries down on the sidewalk. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Fremont Detectives and officers are currently pursuing investigative leads to locate the suspect. We are asking people to stay out of the area of Grimmer Blvd., between Fremont Blvd. and Paseo Padre Parkway. This investigation is active, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
