* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Georgia, including the following counties, Habersham and Rabun.
* WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 355 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated gauges indicated that between 3 and 7 inches of rain have fallen in the last 24 hours. Little or no additional rainfall is expected, but minor to moderate flooding will continue into the evening due to runoff. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Toccoa, Clayton, Clarkesville, Cornelia, Baldwin, Demorest, Mount Airy, Alto, Mountain City, Tiger, Dillard, Sky Valley, Tallulah Falls, Lake Rabun, Lakemont, Tallulah Gorge State Park, Lake Burton, Black Rock Mountain State Park, Raoul and Seed Lake. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Your message should describe the specific location where impacts occurred and the depth of flooding observed. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
