SUSPECT(S): Hunberto Luna, 39-year-old resident of Hemet
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at about 9:04 p.m., a deputy from the Chino Hills Station attempted to stop a vehicle for multiple violations. The driver failed to yield, and a traffic pursuit ensued west through Carbon Canyon Road. The vehicle collided with a tree near Carbon Canyon Road and Carriage Hills Lane. The driver was identified as Hunberto Luna, a 39-year-old resident of Hemet. Luna was arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center for reckless evading and a felony warrant from Riverside County.
