* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Greenup County in northeastern Kentucky... Southwestern Gallia County in southeastern Ohio... Southwestern Jackson County in southeastern Ohio... Lawrence County in southeastern Ohio...

* Until 800 PM EDT.

* At 620 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Ashland, Ironton, Coal Grove, Lake Vesuvius, Greenup, Greenbo Lake, Flatwoods, South Point, Vernon, Waterloo, Raceland, Worthington, Burlington, Wurtland, Aid, Hanging Rock, Pedro and Grays Branch.
