...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia... Flint River below Big Branch near Molena affecting Pike and Meriwether Counties. For the Flint River Basin...including Molena...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Flint River below Big Branch near Molena.

* WHEN...From this morning to early Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding of the natural flood plain near the gage location begins. Flooding continues to expand into the agricultural and wooded areas downstream from the gage near the Georgia Highway 74 bridge. Elevated homes in this location will see a foot or two of water underneath them.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 26.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 31.4 feet early Sunday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Monday morning. - Flood stage is 28.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 31.8 feet on 07/13/2005. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
