The 911 center is operating at full capacity and should only be used for life-threatening emergencies. Do not call 911 to report downed trees, power lines, or outages. The 911 center WILL NOT provide updates on road conditions, power restoration, or internet service. Rest assured, Duke Energy and other utility companies are fully aware of the outages and are working diligently to restore services. Outages may last several days, and calling 911 will not speed up the process. Please help keep 911 lines open for true emergencies.
