A transformer explosion has occurred in the area of Birdsall St. and East Bay Ave. Teams are working to address the problem as we speak. The estimated repairs are unknown at this time. JCP&L will be responding within the hour to assess and repair. Be advised the Route 9 corridor is experiencing power outages with intemittent outages in the Settler's Landing area.
