INCIDENT: Fatal Crash
LOCATION: Green Tree Boulevard/ Hesperia Road
VICTIM(S): Male resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY: On Sunday, September 29, 2024, at about 12:11 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Station, along with Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response personnel, responded to the area of Green Tree Boulevard and Hesperia Road in the city of Victorville for a two-vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, it was determined a blue Toyota Corolla traveled west on Green Tree Boulevard and entered eastbound lanes of traffic and crashed head on into a white Chevrolet Silverado that traveled eastbound in the eastbound lane of Green Tree Boulevard. The driver of the Toyota Corolla sustained major injuries and was transported to Desert Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Green Tree Boulevard was closed between the areas of Coad Road and Hesperia Road for several hours.
