Flock Safety Alert Leads To Another Stolen Vehicle Recovery and Arrest 
On 9-29-24 the Simi Valley Police Department received information of a stolen vehicle being driven in town. Around 1507 hours, an SVPD Patrol Officer located the vehicle in the area of Corriganville Park. The driver was fast asleep in the driver's seat.
SVPD Officers contacted the subject (later identified as William Green a 48 year old Simi Valley resident) and arrested him for 10851(A) VC-Auto Theft and for an outstanding Felony Warrant in Ventura County for a Violation of Probation.
The Officer's investigation revealed Green to be on Active Ventura County Probation for 10851(A) VC-Auto Theft with prior convictions for auto theft.
The recovered stolen vehicle was reported stolen out of Maricopa County, Arizona. Green was booked at the Ventura County Main Jail without incident.
