TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Street Closures Announced Due to Public Safety Ceremony - Monday, September 30, 2024 
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé announces that the following streets will be closed during the below designated hours due to a Public Safety ceremony to be held on Monday, September 30, 2024.
Beginning from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Monday, September 30, 2024
- Bergen Street between West Bigelow Street and Madison Avenue
- Clinton Avenue between Chadwick Avenue and Peshine Avenue
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
Director Fragé thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event. He also urges anyone with information regarding criminal activities to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
