Jasper County Emergency Services continues working with the State of South Carolina and the Emergency Management Division, documenting the impact and damages in Jasper County to seek a declaration for Federal Assistance to aid the County and its citizens. Report storm damage to the Assessor’s Office at 843-717-3621 or [email protected] as soon as possible. This includes damage that has already been temporarily repaired. Reporting damage for assessment assists in determination of Federal Assistance availability for the community. Next steps would be to contact your insurance agent and company. Your agent can assist you in the claims process. If it is safe to do so, take inventory of the damage including pictures, video, and lists.
