Hoboken Art Month launched to celebrate arts, culture, and community

The City of Hoboken’s Office of Cultural Affairs, in collaboration with the Hoboken Business Alliance (HBA), today announced the launch of Hoboken Art Month, a five-week celebration of arts and cultural heritage. Taking place throughout the city through the end of October, Hoboken Art Month will provide greater visibility and access to local artists, arts-based businesses, and creative practitioners from across the area.

"Hoboken Art Month is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible talent we have right here in our city," said Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla. "This initiative highlights our commitment to supporting public art while simultaneously stimulating our local economy, and I invite all of our residents and visitors to take part!”

This collaboration between the City of Hoboken and the HBA will feature a variety of free public art programming and various cultural activations designed to engage residents and visitors alike. Throughout the month, Hoboken will be a hub for public art, live performances, and community events that highlight the city’s artistic spirit.

"Hoboken Art Month is an incredible celebration of the creativity and talent that make our city unique. It’s inspiring to see artists showcase their work in beloved local businesses and public spaces reflective of Hoboken’s diverse community. The Hoboken Business Alliance is proud to partner with the City of Hoboken to support this initiative, which connects creatives and businesses to bring beautiful art in many forms for people of all ages to experience. We look forward to enjoying the live music, visual art, and interactive activities with the community all month long, demonstrating the Mile Square City’s commitment to cultivating a thriving hub for arts and culture," said Roxanne Earley, Executive Director of the Hoboken Business Alliance.
