The Santa Clara Parade of Champions will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024 through Santa Clara's Historic Downtown with festivities from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Complete event details are available at SCParadeofChampions.org
•5 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Limited resident-only ingress/egress (see details below)
•8 a.m. - 10 a.m. - Breakfast of Champions (American Legion 419, 959 Homestead Road)
•9 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Community Village (browse informational booths, activities and food trucks on Franklin Street between Jefferson and Monroe Streets)
•11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Parade of Champions
• 1:30 - 4:45 p.m. - Street Dance: POP ROCKS 1:30 - 3:30 p.m., and DJ Macala 3:30 - 4:45 p.m.
•6 p.m. - All roadways reopen

Traffic Advisory :
The parade route is approximately 0.75 mile and will start at Monroe Street at Market Street. It will move north along Monroe Street, turn right at Harrison Street and end at the corner of Washington and Harrison Streets.
•From 5 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monroe Street will be closed between Benton Street to Homestead Road
•From 5 a.m. - 4 p.m. the following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic:
Market Street, between Madison Street and Washington Street
Harrison Street, between Monroe Street and Lafayette Street
Fremont Street, between Monroe Street and Lafayette Street
Washington Street, between Lewis Street and Benton Street and Market Street to Lafayette Street
Monroe Street will be closed between Harrison Street and Manchester Drive
Franklin Street between Jefferson Street and Monroe Street
•From 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Homestead Road will be closed from Monroe Street to Jackson Street
•From 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. no residential "in and out" along the parade route
For planning purposes, if you live along the parade route and plan to leave the event area during the closure time, it is recommended that residents can park their vehicle(s) outside of the parade route by 5 a.m. Utilize El Camino Real, Lincoln, and Lafayette Streets for vehicular travel around the event area.
Temporary "No Parking" signs will be posted along the parade route. Vehicles parked along the parade route will be ticketed and towed. The traffic fine, tow company release fee and storage costs vary and start at $150-200, therefore plan accordingly. If your vehicle has been towed, it will be at one of the following locations:

Parade Parking Information:
Attendees should utilize street parking or at Santa Clara University, 1063 Alviso Street. Parade participants should park on the street or at Buchser Middle School, 1111 Bellomy Street. ADA parking will be available at 1285 Homestead Road. ADA viewing is available near the main stage.
