We are aware of the recent discoloration in the water. As previously communicated by Rockett Special Utility District and noted in your water bill, on October 1, 2024, they transitioned to a new disinfectant process. This change is the cause of the temporary water color alteration.

While the color may not be appealing, please rest assured that the quality of the water remains safe for all uses. The discoloration is temporary, and we appreciate your patience as the system adjusts to the new disinfectant.
