MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2024:
1:22 PM Officer Taylor investigated a residential burglary reported near Hickory Street & Seawind Way. An open garage was entered with multiple pairs of shoes stolen.
3:35 PM Community Service Officer (CSO) Lau responded to a report of a package theft near Hickory Street & Seawind Way.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2024:
1:02 AM Officer Norvell investigated a vehicle burglary near Cedar Boulevard & North Magazine Road. Reported loss included power tools.
7:00 AM Officer Berlanga responded to a vehicle burglary near Cedar Boulevard & North Magazine Road. Hand tools were reportedly taken from an unlocked toolbox.
8:56 AM Officer Dale recovered a stolen vehicle near Jarvis Avenue & Newark Boulevard.
9:15 AM CSO Lau responded to a report of a vandalized vehicle near Jarvis Avenue & Haley Street. Damage to the vehicle’s tire was observed.
10:59 AM Officers responded to a vehicle collision on Cherry Street & Plummer Avenue. A 30-year-old male was arrested for aggravated assault, domestic violence and resisting arrest. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
12:31 PM CSO Lau investigated a vehicle theft reported near Filbert Street & Wells Avenue.
1:30 PM Officer Dale investigated a license plate theft near Jarvis Avenue & Newark Boulevard.
4:30 PM CSO Lau investigated a vehicle theft near Cedar Boulevard & Breton Drive.
4:56 PM Officer Dale responded to an attempted commercial burglary near Thornton Avenue & Saint Edwards Street.
5:03 PM CSO Lau investigated a package theft near Cherry Street & Smith Avenue.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2024:
8:42 AM Officer Lor investigated a vehicle theft near Gateway Boulevard & Jarvis Avenue.
10:19 AM Officer S. Torres investigated a bicycle theft involving bolt cutters near Cherry Street & Dairy Avenue.
12:04 PM CSO Lau responded to Sycamore Street & Central Avenue for the report of a license plate theft.
12:32 PM Officer Lor was flagged down while on patrol near Jarvis Avenue & Newark Boulevard. A 31-year-old male was arrested for robbery and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
2:34 PM Officer Dale responded to a report of a disturbance on Newark Boulevard & Mayhews Landing Road. A 65-year-old male was arrested for narcotics and violating court orders. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2024:
9:57 AM Officer Lor responded to a disturbance near Jarvis Avenue & Newark Boulevard. A 64-year-old female was arrested for criminal threats and released with a citation.
12:46 PM Officer Kim investigated a robbery near Newpark Mall Road.
5:22 PM CSO Lau investigated a theft near Newpark Mall Road.
7:25 PM Officer Berlanga investigated an attempted vehicle burglary near Gateway Boulevard & Jarvis Avenue.
10:14 PM Officer Dale responded to a reported vehicle driving recklessly near Hickory Street & Enterprise Drive. A 25-year-old male was arrested and released on scene with a citation.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2024:
3:02 PM Officer Kim responded to a traffic collision near Cedar Boulevard & Cedar Court. A 21-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding warrant and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
8:33 PM Officer Lara investigated a license plate theft near Newpark Mall Road.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2024:
12:57 AM Officer Williams was on routine patrol and conducted a traffic stop near Cedar Boulevard & Thornton Avenue. A 25-year-old male was arrested for invalid registration information and was released on scene with a citation.
1:23 AM Officer Williams performed a traffic stop on Thornton Avenue & Spruce Street. A 33-year-old male was arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail for driving under the influence.
2:57 AM Officers responded to a disturbance near Gateway Boulevard & Jarvis Avenue. A 32-year-old female was arrested for violating a court order, possession of narcotics, and providing false information. She was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
4:24 AM Officer Soto responded to an attempted vehicle burglary near Bridgepointe Drive & Spruce Street. The window was discovered broken with no known loss.
8:33 AM Officer Lomeli responded to an extra patrol request near Cedar Boulevard & Port Sailwood Drive. A 41-year-old male and 47-year-old male were arrested for outstanding warrants and booked into Santa Rita Jail. A 44-year-old female was released on scene with a citation for narcotics.
12:18 PM Officer Orozco conducted a welfare check near Cedar Boulevard & Cedar Court. A 31-year-old male was arrested for outstanding warrants and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
3:33 PM CSO Mora responded to a report of a vehicle burglary near Sycamore Street & Graham Avenue. The driver window was discovered smashed in with no known loss.
5:59 PM CSO Mora investigated a package theft near Hickory Street & Seawind Way.
6:29 PM Officer Lara responded to Newpark Mall Road and arrested a 32-year-old male for grand theft and a court order violation. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2024:
12:23 AM Officer C. Torres was on routine patrol and observed a vehicle stopped in the roadway of Cedar Boulevard & Civic Terrace. A 28-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
2:03 AM Officer Williams investigated a license plate theft near Mowry School Road & Cedar Boulevard.
2:43 AM Officers investigated a vehicle theft and subsequently recovered a stolen vehicle near Newpark Mall Road.
7:36 AM Officers investigated multiple vehicle burglaries near Central Avenue & Willow Street.
3:50 PM Officer Taylor responded to a burglary in progress near Newark Boulevard & Jarvis Avenue. A 34-year-old male was arrested for vandalism and possession of narcotics. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail
4:38 PM Officer Orozco investigated a residential burglary near Lido Boulevard & Normandy Drive. The rear glass door was discovered shattered.
8:43 PM Officer Lara responded to a report of vandalism near Newark Boulevard & Britany Avenue. A 28-year-old male was arrested for violation of parole terms, vandalism, public intoxication, and battery on a peace officer. He was transported and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
