Humidity has firmly dropped into the lower 20s across the entirety of the MPX CWA, with winds being the limiting factor in seeing Red Flag Conditions for the metro, western Wisconsin, and central Minnesota. Gusts are less frequent as you head north with sustained winds also marginally weaker such that conditions are just below true Red Flag criteria. Fire weather conditions will remain elevated through sunset at which point both winds weaken and relative humidity increases as the temperature drops. Check with your county for burning restrictions and fire danger before burning.
