The National Weather Service in Elko has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from late Friday morning into Friday evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 424, 437, 438, 469, and 470.
* WINDS...Sustained southwest to west winds 20 to 25 mph, with gusts near 40 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 12 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
