...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THURSDAY TO 8 PM AKDT FRIDAY...
* WHAT...West winds 40 to 55 mph with gusts up to 75 mph expected.
* WHERE...Eastern Aleutians.
* WHEN...From 4 PM Thursday to 8 PM AKDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...High winds could move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A long duration wind event is expected with frequent gusts to 60 mph likely. There is lower confidence on the frequency of wind gusts to 75 mph. However, occasional gusts to 75 mph are possible.
