Police Seek Help Locating 90-Year-Old Woman Suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help in locating Alida Petit-Frere, 90, of Newark, who was reported missing today, Thursday, October 3, 2024.
Ms. Petit-Frere, who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease, was last seen at St. Paul Avenue near Cliff Street at 8 a.m. She is described as 4’10” tall and 100 pounds, with gray and white hair. Ms. Petit-Frere was wearing a multi-colored gown with a floral pattern of gray and dark brown. She was also wearing a dark gray hair bonnet.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Alida Petit-Frere to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
