One Injured in Mason Township Crash 
Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 10/03/2024 at approximately 23:17 hours his Office was called to investigate a personal injury crash near the roundabout at US 12 and Five Points Rd, in Mason Township, Cass County Michigan.
Investigation shows that Jose Cisneros,(27 yr of Elkhart. IN) was traveling westbound on US 12. Cisneros lost control of the pickup hitting the roundabout. Cisneros vehicle came to a rest on US 12 West of the roundabout. Cisneros was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for injuries that had occurred from the crash.
It is unknown if seat-belts where used in the crash. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor.
Assisting Cass County Sheriffs Office in this crash was Ontwa Township Police Department, SEPSA Ambulance and Porter Township Fire.
