Phase 3 of the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) project will require a closure of Purdue Street (between Columbia Road and Swarthmore Court) from October 8 until the end of November (or later) depending on the weather. The 900 block of Columbia Road will be a dead-end during the closure. Access to the Pool/Community Center parking lot (and Community Gardens) will be available via Swarthmore Court. Now that the pool season is done, Swarthmore Court and Columbia Road are back to two-way traffic.
