At approximately 2:45 a.m., the suspects approached a male victim in the 100 block of Van Buren Street, assaulted him by throwing him to the ground, punching, and kicking him, before robbing him of his wallet, $300.00, and his iPhone 14 Pro cell phone. The suspects fled south on Van Buren Street towards Lafayette Street.

Detectives investigating this incident describe Suspect # 1 as in his mid-twenties, short in height with no facial hair, wearing Pittsburgh Steelers baseball cap, blue pants, black shoes, and a short sleeve shirt featuring a “Get To The Bag” logo. Suspect #2 is also described as in his mid-to-late twenties, short in height with a thin build and no facial hair, wearing black jacket, blue basketball shorts, gray sneakers, and a dark-colored baseball cap. Suspect # 3 is similarly described as short in height, no facial hair, wearing a black Puma sweatsuit with white stripes on sleeves and pant legs, black and white shoes.
