On Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 8:42 PM, Middleton Police Officers responded to Amber Indian Cuisine, 6913 University Avenue, for a Strong-Armed Robbery. Once on the scene, restaurant employees said that a white male wearing a brown hat, brown ski mask, yellow long-sleeve flannel shirt, and jeans had entered the restaurant and taken a container containing tips from the cashier's counter. When employees tried to stop the suspect, the suspect reached into his pocket and said that he had a gun (no gun was ever displayed). The suspect was last seen leaving the restaurant on foot, getting into a vehicle at the intersection of Elmwood Avenue and Mayflower Drive.
