Rodent mitigation education session reminder; HBA to pressure wash portions of Washington St; Vaccines available for homebound residents
Rodent Control and Mitigation Community Education Session TOMORROW
Residents are reminded that the City of Hoboken, the Hoboken Health Division, and the Hoboken Office of Constituent Services are hosting a community education session on rat control and mitigation tomorrow, Oct. 9, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Multi-Service Center, 124 Grand St.
Experts in the field will be on hand to discuss a variety of topics including the rodent lifecycle and ecosystem, how to seal burrows on private property, prevention strategies including containerization, updates on City mitigation efforts, regulatory codes and enforcement, and more.

Hoboken Business Alliance to pressure wash both sides of Washington Street below Sixth Street
The Hoboken Business Alliance will pressure wash portions of Washington Street below Sixth Street during the month of October as part of its sanitation and beautification supplemental services.
Pressure washing will take place beginning at approximately 9 AM and continuing until around 1PM, weather dependent. The HBA contractor will be cleaning as much sidewalk space as possible from the curb to the building line. The HBA will not move any furniture or other impediments. Business are advised to move outdoor seating or other furniture if they desire cleaning.

- 10/9: Washington between 5th & 6th Streets, West Side
- 10/10:Washington between 4th & 5th Streets, West Side
- 10/16: Washington between 3rd & 4th Streets, West Side

- 10/23: Washington between 1st & 2nd Streets, West Side
- 10/24: Washington between Newark & 1st Streets, East Side

Free COVID and flu vaccines offered for homebound residents; clinics also available at Multi-Service Center
The Hudson Regional Health Commission is offering free in-home flu and COVID-19 vaccinations to Hoboken residents who qualify. To be eligible, you must be a Hudson County resident and considered homebound or unable to leave your home.
Eligible homebound residents in need of a flu or COVID-19 vaccination should call the HCRHC hotline at (201) 388-1097 or email [email protected] and leave your name, town, and phone number. Once a request is received, a vaccine coordinator will call to confirm eligibility and schedule an appointment.
Hoboken residents who do not qualify for free in-home vaccinations can take advantage of pop-up vaccine clinics hosted by the Hoboken Health Division this fall. Fall clinics, co-hosted with the Hudson Regional Health Commission as well as Medicine Man Pharmacy, will be held at the Multi-Service Center, 124 Grand St.
