Community message during this holiday season
To All Our Residents, Visitors, Families, and Friends,
On behalf of the Deal Police Department, we wish you a healthy and safe holiday season. We extend our warmest wishes for a joyous and sincere New Year to the entire community.
As we celebrate the holidays throughout the month, we must remain vigilant. The Deal Police Department has built strong partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies. We have a dedicated officer serving as our Department's Counterterrorism Coordinator, who remains in close contact with these partners.
While there are no known threats to our area,
we continue to take proactive measures to ensure the safety of our residents and visitors. This commitment to safety is something we take seriously throughout the entire year.
This partnership isnt just with other agencies – we also rely on you.
We ask all residents and visitors to stay alert and remember,
If You See Something, Say Something. People often ask what this means. Simply put, it is about noticing anything unusual, whether it’s a suspicious backpack, an unfamiliar vehicle, or something else out of place. These are just a few examples, and we take all reports seriously.
The Deal Police Department prides itself on its readiness to respond to any call. We are here to protect and serve all the members of our communities.
Stay safe, stay aware, and together we can ensure a secure holiday season for all.
