City of Port Richey - Debris Pickup
10.08.2024 UPDATE: PICK-UP WILL CONTINUE - PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF TRAFFIC - ROADWAYS WILL BE BLOCKED OFF DURING DEBRIS CLEANUP. PLEASE FOLLOW THE DETOURS; THE CITY APPRECIATES YOUR COOPERATION.
UPDATE: CITY CREWS ARE PICKING UP DEBRIS NOW. PLEASE DO NOT BRING MORE ITEMS TO THE CURBS. THE CITY IS TRYING TO CLEAR STREETS OF DEBRIS BEFORE HURRICANE MILTON LANDFALL.
The City is coordinating with Pasco County to begin debris pickup soon. We hope to have more information on deployment early next week. The City will begin picking up debris on Sunday or Monday morning. Please continue to separate and pile your debris in front of your home. You may empty everything out of your home to ensure dryness (drywall, insulation, etc.). Please try to sort debris in these categories to make the collection more efficient.
- Vegetative Debris/Brush
- Hazardous Waste
- Construction Materials
- Household Garbage
- Large Appliances
- Electronics
- Lithium-ion Batteries MUST BE COMPLETELY SEPARATE from all other debris!
- Debris piles should be placed curbside & not block roadways.
