Here are the FIVE BIG THINGS you need to know this afternoon:

1.) Except for emergency services, City offices will close at 12PM on Wednesday, 10/9, and all day Thursday, 10/10.

2.) Wednesday’s trash will be collected on FRIDAY. Thursday’s trash will be collected on SATURDAY. There will be NO recycling collected this week.

4.) 4-6 inches of rain, and winds 20-30MPH, gusting to 50MPH are possible.

5.) Prepare for flooding and power outages. Charge all devices and ensure that you have food and water for several days.
