The wildland fire from Monday in the Sanford area is still smoldering. Smoke is still expected in the area and beyond depending on the wind speed and direction. Fire agencies will continue to monitor the fire and be in the area working. It will likely take a couple of weeks to completely clear of smoke in the area.
