TORNADO WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 9PM THIS EVENING 
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch in Broward County until 9PM this evening.
As Hurricane Milton gains strength and moves closer to the Florida coast, LHPPD will continuously monitor and prepare you for the storm. Heavy rain and strong winds are expected over tonight and into tomorrow. Please take the following precautions:
- Drive Carefully: If you must travel, exercise caution and reduce speed.
- Beware of Hazards: Be mindful of standing water, downed power lines, and fallen trees. Avoid these hazards and report any issues to the police department.
- Stay Informed: Keep up with local news for updates on weather conditions.
