Holiday schedule announced & pickleball registration reminder; NJT bus survey launched
Municipal offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 14, for Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples' Day. They will reopen on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Street cleaning will be suspended on Monday. Waste collection will occur as scheduled.
The Hop shuttle service is suspended on Monday. It will resume on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
All parking regulations will remain in effect.
As a reminder, the City’s Recreation Division will open registration on Monday, Oct. 14, at 5 p.m., for adult pickleball which will be held from Nov. 4 to Dec. 16 at the Multi-Service Center gym, 124 Grand St.
Advanced players will play from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., intermediate/ advanced players from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and advanced beginners/ intermediate players from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The fee is $35 for Hoboken residents.

Notices issued by State for unpaid parking tickets
The New Jersey Judiciary will resume the enforcement of penalties including suspending drivers licenses and registration for outstanding parking ticket violations.
During the COVID-19 public health emergency, the suspension of licenses and registrations for unpaid parking tickets was temporarily halted.
Residents with unpaid parking tickets will soon receive individualized notices from the State, detailing options to address outstanding violations. These notices will include information on how to contact the court or make payments through NJMCdirect. Failure to respond or pay the ticket may result in penalties.
