Deputies Respond to Call for Service and Arrest Female Suspect for Spousal Abuse and Vandalism
DATE/TIME: Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m.
INCIDENT: PC 273.5(A) - Felony Spousal Abuse and PC 594(A)(1) - Felony Vandalism
LOCATION: 1900 Block of Erin Drive , Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Cynthia Jones, 34 Years Old, Resident of Needles. CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service near the 1900 block of Erin Drive reference a domestic disturbance. When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered suspect Cynthia Jones had assaulted the victim during an argument and broke a window at another victim's residence.
Cynthia Jones was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking on the above mentioned charges. Jones remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
