Storm Debris Removal Update for McDowell County Residents 
In the next several weeks, contractors hired by McDowell County will begin removing storm debris from public roadways in the Town of Old Fort, the City of Marion, and along State secondary roads in the County.
The debris pickup cost will be covered by State and Federal funds. Neither the Town, the City, nor the County will be able to reimburse cleanup and hauling fees incurred by private property owners.
