Final Update: Hurricane Milton
FINAL UPDATE: Hurricane Milton
Please be advised that some bike paths, beach accesses, and remote trails may still have lingering damage from Hurricane Milton. Please continue to use caution for several days as final inspections and clean-up occur.
Waste Management is continuing with normal operations for trash pickup. Waste Management has confirmed that debris pickup is continuing from Hurricane Helene but may take several days/weeks to complete all pickups due to delays post-storm and from Hurricane Milton.
Please also be aware that there is no longer a curfew in Glynn County. If you are continuing to receive county-wide cell phone alerts, please know these are delayed from the original curfew notifications due to offline cell towers. These will continue to be sent until all qued messages are released as service systems come back online.
All JIA facilities, offices, and amenities are operational as normal.
This will be the final update for Hurricane Milton.
