Traffic investigators from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station are investigating the circumstances of a fatal traffic collision involving two vehicles that occurred 10/10/2024 at approximately 4:37pm. The incident took place in the intersection of Fountain Avenue and Spaulding Avenue, in the City of West Hollywood.
Preliminary investigation indicates a male driver and sole occupant of a Ford SUV, was traveling northbound on Spaulding Avenue. A male adult driving another Ford SUV with a female front passenger, was traveling eastbound on Fountain Avenue. Both vehicles entered the intersection and crashed into each other. The female passenger was transported to the hospital and was later pronounced deceased.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated. It is unknown at the time if speed was a factor or if alcohol or drugs played a role in this crash.
