1. Person Stabbed (1941) 100 Block of Alder Street, Civic District
The victim, 39, and the suspect were involved in an argument when the suspect stabbed the victim. The
victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment for his non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
2. Robbery (2028) 2000 Block of East Mariposa Road, Civic District
The male and two female victims, 27, 25, and 66, exited a business when the suspects approached them. The suspects assaulted the victims and took their property. The victims went back into the business to get help, and the suspects fled. SUSPECTS: Two Black males wearing black clothing and face masks.
3. Resisting Arrest (0310) Commerce Street and Harding Way, Civic District
Officers responded to a report of a subject armed with a knife. When they tried to detain him, he pulled away from the officers. The suspect was eventually taken into custody after a brief struggle. ARRESTED: Jeffery Edwards, 47, for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
