The Ojai Police Department is proud to announce “Ice Cream with the Cops” event.  What better way to bring the community together than enjoying a sweet treat!  Let us serve you a scoop or two of your favorite Ojai Ice Cream flavor and chat it up with the neighbors and the deputies that work here in Ojai.  This is a casual, family-friendly event meant to bring the community and public safety together to connect, build trust and partnerships.  Join us Wednesday, October 23rd, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, at Ojai Ice Cream, 210 E Ojai Ave, Ojai.  Members from our Volunteers in Policing and youth Explorers will also be on hand to answer questions about how you or your child can become a volunteer.

Community trust and transparency are some of the key elements to the success of the Ojai Police Department.  Sharing simple conversations gives us an opportunity to better serve our community.  We invite the community to ask questions, voice concerns, get crime prevention advice, and get to know the officers in your neighborhood, or just stop in to say hello.  This is a relaxed, informal event and is not about speeches or agendas, but simply about casual conversation.  The goal of Ice Cream with the Cops is to give a voice to our community and hear about what is important to you.
