Hello,
As many of you are aware, we've been experiencing multiple power outages over the past week. The cause of these outages has been determined to be the aging switchgear system that serves our Verdugo Campus. We must take immediate action to address this issue.
Therefore, we will be conducting a scheduled power shutdown in coordination with the City of Glendale Water and Power on the Verdugo Campus from 11:00 PM on Thursday, October 17 until noon on Friday, October 18.
Classes on the Verdugo Campus will be cancelled and in-person services will be unavailable on Friday, October 18th 2024.
Operations at Garfield and PDC are unaffected and will continue as planned.
