INCIDENT: PC 273A(A) - Child Abuse and PC 422(A) - Criminal Threats
LOCATION: 200 Block of I Street, Needles, California
SUSPECT(S): Shawn Brown, 37 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential Female Juvenile, 7 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
Confidential Female, 31 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
Confidential Female, 28 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
Confidential Female, 57 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
SUMMARY: On Sunday, October 13, 2024, at approximately 3:25 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the 200 block of I Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. When deputies arrived on scene, they contacted the parties involved which included a female juvenile. During the investigation, deputies determined the suspect, Shawn Brown, was in violation of PC 273A(A) - Child Abuse and PC 422(A) - Criminal Threats.
Shawn Brown was consequently arrested on the above mentioned-charges and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Shawn Brown remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $100,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
