Deputies Arrest Suspect for Battery with Serious Injuries on Sunday Afternoon
DATE/TIME: Sunday, October 13, 2024, at approximately 12:56 p.m.
INCIDENT: PC 243(D) - Battery with Serious Bodily Injury
LOCATION: 100 Block of Pirate Cove, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Justin Brattain, 45-Years-Old, Resident of Joshua Tree, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Sunday, October 13, 2024, at approximately 12:56 p.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the 100 block of Pirate Cove, reference an assault. Deputies arrived on scene and learned that Justin Brattain assaulted the victim, causing serious injury to his person.
Justin Brattain was consequently arrested for PC 243(D) - Battery with Serious Bodily Injury and was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Brattain remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $40,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
