Red Flag Warning until 07:00PM Wednesday

...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON... .Very dry conditions with relative humidity values as low as 15 to 20 percent in western Minnesota will combine with dry fuels and south winds of 15-25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph to create the Red Flag fire weather conditions this afternoon. The National Weather Service in Twin Cities/Chanhassen has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM CDT this evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Locations along and west of a line from Fairmont, to Willmar and Alexandria.

* WIND...South-southwest 15-20 mph gusting up to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 20 to 25 percent.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BROWN ... WATONWAN ... MARTIN
