The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM CDT this evening. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity is in effect from Thursday morning through Thursday evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AFFECTED AREA...In Iowa, Lyon, Osceola, Sioux, O'Brien, Plymouth and Woodbury. In Minnesota, Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone and Rock.
* WINDS...South 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREAS: LYON ... OSCEOLA ... SIOUX ... O'BRIEN ... PLYMOUTH ... WOODBURY ... LINCOLN ... LYON ... MURRAY ... NOBLES ... PIPESTONE ... ROCK
