* WHAT...Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 will be possible.
* WHERE...The North Carolina mountains and northern foothills.
* WHEN... For the Freeze Warning, from 2 AM to 10 AM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. In-ground
sprinkler systems should be drained. Remove hoses and cover above-
ground pipes.
