WEST SPRINGFIELD EARLY VOTING INFORMATION
West Springfield, MA: The Town of West Springfield is pleased to announce early voting information for the upcoming 2024 federal and state elections. Early voting provides residents with an opportunity to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day, ensuring everyone has access to participate in the democratic process.
Early voting will take place at the West Springfield Public Library, 200 Park Street, West Springfield, from Saturday, October 19 through Friday, November 1, 2024. The hours are as follows: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; the polls are closed on Sundays. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this convenient option.
Voters who have chosen to vote early by mail also have several options to submit their ballots. Vote by mail ballots can be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours, prepaid by mail through the USPS, or deposited in the Town Clerk’s dropbox. The dropbox is a white and blue mailbox located in the lobby of Town Hall, accessible 24/7.
In addition to the Presidential Election, there are several state races on the ballot, as well as five statewide ballot questions. There are no local municipal elections on the ballot.
“We encourage all residents to take part in the early voting process,” said Mayor William Reichelt. “This is a great opportunity to make your voice heard while avoiding the potentially historic crowds on Election Day.”
