INCIDENT: PC 245(a)(1): ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON
PC 422(A): CRIMINAL THREATS
LOCATION: Spring Valley Lake Community Center, 12975 Rolling Ridge Drive, Spring Valley Lake
SUSPECT: Kevin Hunter, 29 years of age, resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On Monday, October 14, 2024, at 7:15 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the Spring Valley Lake Community Center regarding a subject threatening residents and security personnel. Deputies learned that the suspect, Kevin Hunter, was allegedly swinging a bat at the victims and verbally threatening to harm them. When deputies arrived, Hunter dropped the bat but resisted arrest.
Kevin Hunter, who is currently on probation, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center where he is currently being held without bail on a probation hold.
