The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM to 7 PM CDT Thursday.
* AFFECTED AREA...In Missouri, Fire Weather Zones 005, 006, 007, 014, 015, 016, 022, 023, 024, 030, 031, 038, 044 and 053.
* TIMING...From 11 AM to 7 PM CDT Thursday.
* WIND...South winds 20-25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.
* HUMIDITY...20 to 30 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
