Wilmington Police have arrested a female on drug charges.
On October 9, at approximately 12:42 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 100 block of North Franklin Street, when they observed a female subject engaged in drug-related activity. Police made contact with 35-year-old Zuikira Williams, who was taken into custody without incident, and found to be in possession of .39 grams of heroin.
Williams has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Breach of Release
She was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $12,000 cash-only bail.
